Joshua strikes Twisted Root Burger off his list of things to do!

After the trip to the Zoo, we stopped at the Twisted Root Burger for dinner.  Ruth ordered the ham burger while Josh opted for a specialty hot dog.  Of course there was plenty of curly fries, onion rings and sweet potato chips to go with it. Ruth "almost" finished her burger and gave it a thumbs up. Josh got to strike 3 to do's off his list within 2 days.  We think we are off to a good start.

The Fort Worth Zoo Experience

The ride to Fort Worth Zoo was a long one.  Natalie stayed awake the entire time both to and fro.  Once at the Zoo, the kids had an incredible time seeing all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and fish.  When asked which was the best part of the trip, Ruthie's response was that she liked feeding the birds and fooling the penguins. My favorite part was simply watching the kids have a blast!
