Fourth Port of Call - Panama (December 28th)

Panama was Natalie's next stop, She started out by taking a train ride from the east coast along the canal to the west coast. The train ride was a lot of fun. Although the train was from the 1950s, it was in excellent condition and had great service. Natalie got to see many ships going through the canal - she also got to see the rain forest. We also stopped at one of the main locks and got to see a ship being raised up to the next level - we also saw an interesting movie about the history of the canal.

After seeing the canal, we went on to Panama City on the west coast. Panama City is a very new city that seems to have a lot of new construction. We had some ice cream and Natalie got a hat. From Panama City, we took a bus back to our port.
