Spa Time After a Hot 4th of July

Natalie got to spend some extra time in the her bath after being out in the heat on July 4th. Normally, Natalie's morning baths are quick and efficient, but today she was allowed some extra time to splash and play, and really enjoy herself. Natalie was delighted to have some additional fun time in the water with her rubber ducks.

Natalie's First 4th - Part 2

Natalie spent the evening of her first 4th of July by going to the concert and fireworks display at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens with her friend Sabian. The difficult part was the heat - it was 105 degrees. Despite the heat, the gardens were packed with people. Natalie beat the heat by enjoying her first snow cone with her Mom. Once she was cooled down and full of sugar, she actively enjoyed the orchestra by dancing, clapping and waving her flag along with the music. When it came time to see the fireworks, Natalie seemed tired and was a little intimidated by the sound - she whimpered a little at first. However, as the show went on, she started to enjoy all the big bright lights in the sky. What a memorable 4th for Natalie - she definitely had an all American experience.

Natalie's First 4th - Part 1

Natalie started her first 4th of July in America by going to the neighborhood parade and party in the morning. Mom had her all decked out in red, white and blue. Natalie was very intrigued by all the other kids, but she especially liked meeting some of the dogs who were also patriotically dressed. The only part of the morning where Natalie was a little tentative was when she met the clown who was making balloon animals. She was a little scared of him.

Thank You Mrs. Winslow

This week, Natalie got a special surprise - Mrs. Winslow sent her a pretty dress all the way from Chicago. Mrs. Winslow is Matt's friend Steve's Mom. It's very sweet that she sent Natalie such a nice gift. Thank you Mrs. Winslow.
