Carrie Hill visited Natalie from Portland, Oregon

Mom's friend and former GAF colleague Carrie Hill visited us at the end of the weekend. She enjoyed meeting Natalie, and was very kind to bring Natalie some new clothes (including a comfy pair of PJs). Natalie enjoyed meeting Carrie too. Carrie has two girls who are near Natalie's age, so she knew just which games to play and songs to sing.

A fabulous time with her Babysitter(s)

Saturday marked another first for Natalie - it was the first time that her Mom and Dad went out without her, so it was also Natalie's first babysitting experience. She did extremely well. Of course, Nicole (her babysitter) came with a lot of experience. She also came with her brother Joel, who is Natalie's friend and a babysitter in training. Natalie was so good that Nicole is willing to babysit her again any time, even on short notice.

Natalie's exploration of Southern Indian Cuisine

Saturday's lunch was at a local Indian restaurant. Natalie tried some of the foods that are native to where her Mommy comes from in Southern India. It looks like Natalie and her Mom will have lots of fun eating together in the future.
